Trusting in Jesus, Reaching Out, Serving Others

The members of Hope have always been actively involved in supporting missions both locally and internationally. Over the years, members have experienced short-term mission trips to various countries and other parts of Canada.

Missions We Support

Mission Circle
The Mission Circle is a group of very enthusiastic, mission-minded ladies that meet weekly and are willing to help wherever and whenever they can to make a difference. Here are some examples of what we do:
  • crochet cancer hats
  • make shawls and lap covers
  • knit preemie blankets
  • make adult chemo blankets for Grand River Cancer Foundation
  • assemble plastic mats, made from donated milk bags, which are given to people out in the cold
  • purchase gently used sleepers, onesies, sweaters, and assemble baby bundles for our neighbours at KW Pregnancy Centre and Dawn Centre in Cambridge. The baby blankets in these bundles are either knitted or most often made from donated materials and knotted by our ladies.
